Do these 24-inch planters come with drainage holes?

Yes, all of our 24-inch plant pots come with a drainage hole on the bottom–so you won’t need to spend time and effort on adding a drainage hole to the pot you receive.

What size saucer do I need for a 24-inch pot?

The saucer size you need depends on the planter’s bottom dimensions (since it is the bottom of the pot that fits on the surface of the saucer). A good rule of thumb is this: a saucer’s inside diameter should be 1-2 inches wider than the width of the bottom of the pot.

Important: Dimensions listed on Ten Thousand Pots are generally for the top diameter–not the bottom diameter of the pot. How many gallons is a 24-inch flower pot?

A cylindrical 24 x 24 planter (two feet tall by two feet wide) holds about 47 gallons (or 6.3 cubic feet). However, keep in mind that a plant pot's capacity depends on its shape. Most 24-inch pots for plants featured here are not perfect cylinders.

How should I read the plant pot dimensions listed on your website?

The dimensions listed for our products should be read as follows: the first two measurements indicate length and width (at the top of the pot’s mouth), and the last number is the pot's height.

As an example, our largest cana pot has the following dimensions: 24" x 24" x 28". This means that it has a 24” diameter (or 24” L x 24” W) and is 28” tall.

Note that the dimensions on our website are for the planter’s total measurements–not just the inside of the pot.
